Physiotherapists at Koombana Physiotherapy always aim to run on time for all of their appointments.

Yes, we happily see DVA patients who hold a current GP referral. Please bring your DVA card to your first appointment.

Yes, we happily see patients under Workers Compensation and Motor Vehicle Accident claims. You will need a GP referral prior to your appointment for it to be covered by the insurance company.

Please note, a gap fee does apply with all workers compensation patients.

At Koombana Physiotherapy we accept Cash, Eftpos, Visa and Mastercard as forms of payment.

All services provided at Koombana Physiotherapy are covered under private health insurance. A gap fee will apply depending on your health insurance company and your level of cover. Please contact them directly to enquire about your physiotherapy rebate.

At Koombana Physiotherapy we have a HiCaps facility where we are able to swipe your card on the day of treatment and your health fund will pay the physiotherapy rebate to us directly. Please bring your Health Insurance Card with you for use of this facility.

It is essential to book appointments at Koombana Physiotherapy. Please contact our friendly reception staff and they will organise an appointment for you and answer any questions you may have regarding treatment.

No, you do not need a referral for treatment as a private patient.

If you are involved in a workers compensation or motor vehicle accident claim and are under an insurance company, you will need a valid Doctors referral. You will also need a referral from your GP if you are under the Enhanced Primary Care Program Medicare Scheme.
