3. I have a workers compensation injury. Can I receive physiotherapy treatment at Koombana Physiotherapy?

At Koombana Physiotherapy we provide first class physiotherapy and rehabilitation services for people unfortunate enough to be injured at work.

Having a work injury can be a stressful time. The process can be a bit messy and confusing, especially if you are not used to navigating our health system. All our physiotherapists are experienced in the workings of the workers’ compensation system and can help to remove some of the stress and confusion associated with a work injury.

The successful management of a person injured at work requires timely intervention, quality physiotherapy, great communication with all parties and a comprehensive rehabilitation and return to work program. Our exercise rehabilitation spaces are perfect for implementing rehabilitation programs, in a non-threatening, highly supervised environment.

Please advise our receptionists that you have sustained a work injury at the time of booking.

7. Do I need a Doctors referral for treatment?

No, you do not need a referral for treatment as a private patient. You will also need a referral from your GP if you are under the Enhanced Primary Care Program Medicare Scheme.
